Angela (Ange) builds brave brands for a better world as a trained conscious capitalist. Ange is a champion of diverse founders in multiple categories, driving sustainability to the mass market. her busines grew 3X in 3 years, exporting over 50% of services to the USA, with over 95% of clients being women-owned and managed. She launched her first podcast series, ‘Scale Conscious’ in June 2022.
She’s been a fractional executive leading wholesale growth for Toronto based brand, Graydon Skincare, and circular economy at woman-owned design and manufacturing disrupter, M4 Factory in Woodstock, Illinois. She was a Canadian Delegate for the G20 Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance in 2021 and 2022, which brought together hundreds of the world’s top young entrepreneurs to share their ideas with leaders to catalyze global change. Previously, Ange has led 7X growth for brand clients, and was responsible for 80+ partnerships as Director of Brands at a firm voted in 2018 in the top ten global social impact businesses, by Real Leaders with B lab.
She led a roundtable on purpose-driven business at Alt Summit in 2020 and was featured as a conscious consumer expert by CBC News radio, digital and TV in 2019. She serves as a social impact mentor for next generation founders at events like SXSW, and was a juror for Fashion Takes Action Design Forward, Canada’s award for sustainable fashion, in 2018. She previously sat on the Board of Directors for Zooshare Biogas Collective and on the Board of Advisors at social enterprise Sitti Soap.
Angela lives in Toronto with her ten year old daughter. She loves Lake Ontario, cycling, and spicy food, and is a new champion of health justice for people living with chronic illness, after receiving a diagnosis in 2020.
